Hărman

Built by the Saxons upon the groundwork of a 12th century basilica, surrounded by strong walls, bulwarks and massive towers, the Fortified Church from Harman is one of Transylvania’s must-see medieval monuments and one of the best-preserved fortifications. The date when the fortified church of Harman was built is uncertain, but it is known that it existed in the middle of the 13th century.
